A Brief Note On The Rising Water Crisis
Water Conservation and Pollution In the world today, water scarcity persists in being an unnerving issue. The worldââ¬â¢s supply of water is diminishing and is further narrowed by pollution. Without measures taken to conserve our water, there will be a global and chronic drought. As long as water is scarce, it is imperative to develop proposals concerning water conservation and pollution. Although water is one of the most abundant resources on the planet, we are not able to utilize the majority of itâ⬠¦ excessive amount of water. I am guilty of taking this resource for granted by taking long showers, not using a stopper while washing dishes, thus leaving the hot water running for far too long, and washing less than a full load of clothing on multiple occasions. Rather than wasting all of the water that I use in the shower and while cleaning dishes in the sink, I could have been reusing it as greywater. Greywater is household wastewater that can be reused to clean household items or water the lawn and gardenâ⬠¦ 1. As millions of Syrians are displaced by the Syrian Civil War, they attempt to seek refuge in surrounding foreign nations. So far, the countries of the world have only addressed the crisis by deciding the fate of the refugees that cling to their borders. However, these individual policies are ineffective in addressing the whole problem. People of different countries always look at America as their final hope when their country is going through different crisis. This concentration of the company in a single geographical region gives rise to many undesirable factors which may affect the sales of Burger king e.g. inflation, strikes of labors, etc. The company needs to advertise its product as hygienic as well as halal. After the recent ââ¬Å"horse meat scandalâ⬠(Phyllis M Daugherty, 2013) the company needs to advertise that the beef they are using has not originated from horse but it is from hygienic and acceptable source. This will definitely help the company to increase its sales, generate profit and increase its market share. Burger king must start home delivery of their product.
